KUCH NA KAHO, ‘LOG KYA KAHENGE?’ - WHAT DOES A WORLD WITHOUT ‘LOG KYA KAHENGE’ LOOK LIKE?

Updated: Jun 24, 2021

If only we weren’t buried under this dark cloud of ‘What people will say?’

The cloud only gets heavier on our shoulders, bogging us down, taking us into a dark place within ourselves where we can't stop thinking about the proverbial char log.

Our days could be full of self-love focusing on ourselves. Bright days fringed with happiness. Without the burden of being judged for what we wear, what we say, what we do, and how we do it. The joy of loving ourselves for what we are without the burden of behaving in a certain way, prescribed by society. Even the thought of complete freedom from what anyone will say is such a liberating one. Imagine a world where we are faced with no prejudice or pressure to abide by the rules made by a faction. No pressure of being held accountable for just being us, for choosing ourselves over and over again.

Imagine a life without being body-shamed or eyes rolling at the choice of career or sexual expression. A Mind free of cobwebs and litter of how someone expects us to live our lives. The choice to live by what we believe in. A life clear of all clutter of unwanted advice to kill the real us and make us behave in a way more acceptable to that faction of society. The shake of heads at our non-conformity as though we have failed them. A life free from all of this, carefree and just as choose to breeze through it.

The dark tunnel of what someone would say would be nonexistent and we would cruise along life under the bright sunshine of life free of judgment and lose talk.

What a beautiful world that would be?! Abundant with self-love and a carefree attitude - A world without ‘Log Kya Kahenge?’
